WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Director of Crisis Intervention Programs is an exempt position responsible for providing on-site response to assist staff whenever necessary. They may provide engagement, counseling, referral, and linkage to formal (community providers) and informal (family, friends, neighbors, school, etc.) resources to prevent ongoing client crisis and support law enforcement in reducing the number of officers deployed to non-emergency situations.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
The Director of Crisis Intervention Programs must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Mental Health, or other relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement; along with five (5) years of experience in the human services field, as well as knowledge in human development, counseling theories, and practices. A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in program planning, evaluation, and management is required.
