CAM Manager

Location: St Petersburg, FL

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The CAM Manager is an exempt position responsible for supervising a team of specialists who operate the Pinellas County Coordinated Access Model (CAM), also known as Care About Me, to streamline access to mental health and substance use disorder services. The Manager is to ensure they understand and meet CAM metrics and software guidelines. The CAM Manager is responsible for ensuring that contractual requirements are met by CAM Specialists and for providing structured coaching and feedback to meet quality metrics.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • As a Master’s level or licensed clinician in the state of Florida, you will manage a team of CAM Specialists and a CAM Supervisor who respond to provider and client requests for mental and/or substance use disorder services through the coordinated access model.
  • Provide oversight and guidance for the CAM Specialists and CAM Supervisor on the execution of their role and the completion of short biopsychosocial assessments, LOCUS, and other screenings for clients seeking assistance.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment where team members feel like they can do their best work, achieve their goals, and contribute to company success.
  • Responsible for data quality for metrics, appointment calendar, and providing regular guidance, coaching, and feedback to all specialists.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and other teams by being an expert resource on the strategy of the CAM.
  • Represent and promote the CAM throughout the community when applicable.
  • Create and use status reports to communicate progress of contractual requirements, and develop action plans to maintain individual metrics to meet goals.
  • Assist in triaging any contractual risks or escalations from your contract’s cross-functional team.
  • Create ongoing support through the telephony system and other software vendors
  • Participate in customer-facing meetings to discuss client and operational progress
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (MSW, MPH, MSN, etc.).
    • Clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT etc.) in the state of FL strongly preferred.
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in coaching and/or supervising staff.
  • Experience in conducting screenings, assessments, and navigating the behavioral health and substance use disorder landscapes.
  • Knowledgeable of the Florida behavioral health infrastructure and operations.
  • Have empathy and passion for helping vulnerable populations.
  • Relationship management skills.
  • Ability to set priorities for yourself and the team, and work independently.
  • Bilingual or multilingual a plus (Spanish, highly desirable as a common spoken language for most clients served)
  • Comfortable with customer-facing meetings and interactions.
  • Experience with monitoring and meeting contractual Key Performance Indicators and metrics.
  • Advanced computer skills and are a quick learner of new technologies and tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 25lbs when required.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with auto insurance coverage.
