Refugee Integration & Resource Manager

Location: St Petersburg, FL

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Refugee Integration & Resource Manager is an exempt position responsible for
ensuring that the Refugee programs have the necessary resources available for the successful
integration of refugees, such as housing, volunteers, and other community resources.

  • Oversee and train the Refugee Integration and Resource Coordinator, volunteers and cosponsors.
  • Ensure Refugee Integration and Resource Coordinator works in partnership with the Workforce.
  • Acquisition team to obtain necessary background screenings and other requirements for volunteers and matching to clients.
  • Ensures that there is regular contact with community resources such as housing, volunteers, and community resources.
  • Develops co-sponsorship group relationships.
  • Maintains a comprehensive database of housing resources, volunteers and community resources.
  • Facilitates regular meetings with rental management offices landlords, volunteers, and community resources.
  • Provide direct service support to refugees as needed.
  • Assists in the preparation of reports for funders and agency.
  • Assists with planning, marketing and development of materials for program events, such as outreach, educational, and engagement activities.
  • Address any issues or conflicts that may arise between housing, volunteers, and community resources.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in international studies, anthropology, human development or related field strongly desired
  • Previous experience working with refugees strongly preferred.
  • Cross-cultural experience or cultural diversity training required.
  • Previous supervisory experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent supervisory and analytical skills
  • Ability to deal professionally, courteously and efficiently with clients and other employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingual, preferably in Dari, Pashto, Spanish, and other languages spoken by clients
  • Knowledge of community organization and resources
  • Must have a valid drivers' license with auto insurance coverage
